Spin me a tale,
Make it as fine as spider silk,
Weave it through your fingers; thread it into my mind,
Tell me a story, please I have little else to hold onto, I want to hear a story.
And, I want it to be different; I want it to be about whatever,
If you want to tell me about pirates, and fairies, and angels,
I’ll gladly listen, I’d be happy, to be taken away from the world, Be it for only an hour or two,
And I trust you, to lift my mind into a clear canvas,
And draw whatever you please around it,
I want to be encompassed in a surreal world,
